I recently purchased the 15 gallon directional feeder to install on a shooting lane. I was a little surprised that the feeder doesn't throw the feed any further. I've tried angling the feeder shroud slightly upward by putting an appropriate piece of wood under the bottom standoff but didn't get much more distance. Most of the corn is within 5-8 feet of the feeder. Any suggestions for increasing the distance?
