MV2 Problems

I have 2 MV1 modems and haven't had any problem. I just received my MV2 and I can't get it to connect. I have made sure I have the most recent firmware installed and have tried 2 different cameras. The modem starts with the awake light lighting up then the camera says USB connected then the bottom 3 lights light up solid and the forth light flashes. It stays like this as long as I leave it. I can't get the Camera or server lights to come on. Any suggestions?


  • You'll have to wait until one of the Moultrie people see this, or call, since I don't own one yet. Or read through the manual troubleshooting maybe. I did read if its downloading firmware it cycles from low to high in the amber color phase. Sounds as if your 4th just blinks instead of it cycling up to it.

  • @jamcrosi You'll definitely need to put a call into Customer Service, they should be able to walk you through some troubleshooting steps with the new hardware.
