Sometime between 8/1/17 and 8/29/17 I had a brand new M-40i camera stolen in Ben Hill Co., Ga. It was in a "bear safe" and lag bolted to the tree with 2 inch lags and the box secured with a high strength, commercial master lock. The thief used a pry bar and tore up the tree. The security code was set, so hopefully they cannot crack it. Ser.# ends .....220. The camera is also marked for identification. A sheriff's crime report was made. I sent full ser.# to tech support in case they are contacted to "unlock" it. Wish everyone that lost a coded camera would do the same and MOULTRIE would maintain a "watch list" of stolen serial #'s, collect some identifying info from the thief under guise of "customer service warranty", feed the thief bad instructions, and contact the victim & law enforcement if an "unlock attempt" is made. Thanks for letting me vent.
