Anyone else notice the last few weeks the app running bad. It takes me like 3 tries to get it to open. And then when it opens sometimes it doesn’t even display my pictures. Moultrie needs to fix some bugs.
I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S9 and it's pretty consistent for me. I do get better performance at home. But in all fairness, Chattanooga has the nation's fastest internet. 1GB is hard to complain about.
On data, sometimes it will load slow but it normally displays in 10-20 seconds.
It's their network. It's pegged is my guess. I'm having the same thing. I would do it side by side with a browser with the same result. Insufficient bandwidth, servers, etc. We are all hitting their stuff pretty hard right now and it cant keep up.
Yes what a perfect time for the app to not work. Opening week of deer season. Temp finally drops here in Alabama and the app is useless. Great app update! Maybe the deer I ran off will come back one day. Had the system been working I would not have walked in this location to begin with.
Never makes sense to me that customer service is closed during the most important time to be up and running. The weekend is when probably 90% of their customers are able to get to their setups. And at that time customer service is not existent 🤦
Reminds me of trying to download a photo using dial up modems back in the 90’s. So frustratingly slow!!
And I am no longer receiving ANY notification of images. Anyone else having that issue?
They force everyone to upgrade to 4G and then forget us after we do so.
What’s up with that?
I don't know that I agree that it's an indication that it wasn't properly tested.
As an IT person i'm sure you know that all sorts of things can go wrong - from slight differences in dev and production environments, to problems with server hardware itself. You know what they say, no plan of attack survives first contact.
Whatever the case it seems to be back working for me so hopefully it was only a minor hiccup.
I have yet to even coming close to figuring out what works how/when/why on performance/operation etc.
A dormant camera that has not connected or showed up on camera list on app-appeared out of the blue yesterday after several weeks of nothing. The best running camera/modem set up I had that was working correctly is now checking in and not downloading pics for the last few days-all happened on its own-no site visit-have another modem that has random check in and zero pics...
All while getting material changes is both signal and battery strengths from reporting units while not being able to visit the property or do anything on site.
No idea on what to do when or how to do it outside of the laundry list of troubleshooting that is done every time I can get on site.
I have been around the circle of “doing everything-troubleshooting” to doing nothing and most of the time the results and expectations are the same-coin flip
I think all the plans will be turned off on the 19th-when it works it is a small highlight of my day to get a remote daily scouting report that I enjoy-when not it is an expensive daily frustration-more bad times then good in retrospect
Mines doing the same on Android..works and then doesn't. Clear cache and works and doesn't... This is becoming a headache. I didn't like the quality of the cuddeback one but at least my friends seem to work hassle free.
Galaxy S7, latest Verizon update this weekend, and the app and pc have been working since installed last week. I'm getting my uploads every 6 hours. I am NOT getting the email notifications, but I really don't care, as long as the pics show up. I am getting lots of pics too, great spot deep in the woods.
App works and doesn't...even the online access to the webpage won't load when the app doesn't work so it's on their end. Not us.. can't get on now to change camera settings

Mine isn't working at the moment either.

Yes it's that way this morning but it is also not bringing up the pics on the computer either

Do you have some inside knowledge that it wasn't tested?

Best of luck to all with equipment and season
Glad I'm sitting at the computer. App didn't open for me that time either.
