No Pics But Camera Checking In and 100% Battery

I’ve been with Moultrie Mobile since the beginning and have a new one for me. My modem is checking in every 24 hours and it is indicating I’ve got 100% battery and 100% signal but I haven’t received a pic in 9 days. I understand sometimes animals simply won’t walk in front of the camera but 9 days is a long stretch, especially for an active area.

Has anyone had a problem where they aren’t getting pictures transmitted even though the modem is checking in and everything is checking out fine?

Think something unplugged it? I can't remember if the camera still shows in the app if that happens.
Last resort, format from the app maybe.

  • I have had the same issues a few times-go on site run through the usual troubleshooting routine and try your luck again

I have two modems doing the same thing right now 4 hours away...

Best of luck-let us know how it turns out

Sounds like the USB is unplugged. I've had bears do that quite a bit. If it's checking in, then that's a good indication it's disconnected.

Thanks but it’s showing camera 100%.

@UTGrad I searched "unplugged". Found where you asked about the it coming unplugged when we were all rookies. Ninja said it would read whatever the last values were. Another said it would read 0%. So, I'm not sure what it is.

I had a camera go haywire once(blinking screen) and I can't remember what happened on the app.

I had one check in 5 days late once in '17. Was signal related maybe. Put it in same area this year and had 100% lol.

  • So, as it turned out, UTGrad said the USB was indeed unplugged. (I guess the deer are smarter than we all think they are! 😳 )
  • Yep thanks Knothead. USB was unplugged so it was showing the last stats for the camera before it was unplugged.

Yep. Seen it quite a few times. I had to build a rig to up a block on the camera to keep bears from unplugging them.
